Kartell's Invisible Coffee Table features a clean and minimal, uncomplicated design in keeping with designer Tokujin Yoshioka's Japanese culture. The "lightness" of the material belies the solidity of the substantial and solid square design.
In a significant pioneering advance by Kartell, the Invisible Coffee Table is produced through the injection technique using a single mold and transparent PMMA plastic. Available in Transparent Crystal, Smoke, Green Algae, Amber, Plum and Teal, as well as Opaque Black or White.

Born in Saga, Japan (1967). Tokujin Yoshioka worked under Shiro Kuramata in 1987 and Issey Miyake since 1988. He established his own studio, Tokujin Yoshioka Design in 2000.
Many of Tokujin Yoshioka's designs have been highly evaluated as art works simply, more than design works.
