Kartell's Magic Hole Sofa has an uncluttered, snappy silhouette and slim closed section legs. The straight linear surfaces culminate in well-rounded curves with the austerity of the lines broken and enhanced by the stylistic flared Magic Hole "pocket".

The Magic Hole Sofa is available in a monochromatic tone-on-tone in white, gray or black, or with contrasting fluorescent colors of orange or green on the interior hollow curve of the arms. Made of batch-dyed polyethylene using the rotational molding technique, the Magic Hole series is comfortable, light, shock resistant and weatherproof.

Philippe Starck

Born in Paris in 1949, Philippe Starck is one of the most original designers and architects of the last three decades. Having designed furniture, hotels, mega-yachts, lighting and many others throughout his career, Starck has become a fixture in modern design. Not only does Starck create beautifully unconventional designs, he creates a finished product whose main purpose is to function well before anything else.

Philippe Starck has obtained many important acknowledgements, including the Grand Prix National de la Création industrielle and the Honor Award of the American Institute of Architects. In Starck's own words, "subversive, ethical, ecological, political, humorous... this is how I see my duty as a designer."

Eugeni Quitllet

Born in 1972, Eugeni Quitllet started studying design at the Ibizia Art School in 1991. He earned a diploma of design and interior design from "La Llotja" Art School in Barcelona, 1996. He collaborated with many architecture and design studios of Barcelona and also worked on design exhibitions for cultural entities such as the Joan Miro Foundation.

In 2001 Eugeni Quitllet met Philippe Starck in Formentera and started a strong collaboration. He now designs furniture and products for some of the most recognized companies in the world, signed STARCK & QUITLLET.
