Miss Balù is a modern interpretation of the quintessential 1800s table with central support leg. The use of a new plastic compound also guarantees resistance to abrasions as well as optimum product life. The larger Miss Balù table, which is quite suitable in the kitchen as a dining table or elsewhere as a larger accent table or desk, has a round top and is available with a white, black or light grey finish. Also available in a café table.

Born in Paris in 1949, Philippe Starck is one of the most original designers and architects of the last three decades. Having designed furniture, hotels, mega-yachts, lighting and many others throughout his career, Starck has become a fixture in modern design. Not only does Starck create beautifully unconventional designs, he creates a finished product whose main purpose is to function well before anything else.
Philippe Starck has obtained many important acknowledgements, including the Grand Prix National de la CrÃ©ation industrielle and the Honor Award of the American Institute of Architects. In Starck's own words, "subversive, ethical, ecological, political, humorous... this is how I see my duty as a designer."
