The work of one of the great masters of Italian design, Nihau Chairs are refined and incredibly chic with a simple, minimalist design. Featuring a butterfly silhouette, its frame is appropriately flexible, light, elegant and delicately colored. With a support structure consisting of slim tubes in chromed steel, the chair's form is slender and curvaceous allowing for a delicate, yet strong finish. The polypropylene seat is available in a wide range of colors. Sold as a Set of 2. Stacks 4 chairs high.
To simplify the recycling process, the various components of Kartell products can be easily separated and reduced to elements made of one single material. Moreover, the plastic parts of each product have a clearly printed universal Recycling Identification Mark.

Vico Magistretti was an Italian industrial designer, known as a furniture designer and architect. He graduated from the Politecnico di Milano University in 1945 and became a follower of Ernesto Nathan Rogers. He initially worked in urban design in Milan. In the 1950s he moved into the field of mass-produced furniture and lamps working for companies such as Artemide, Cassina, De Padova, Flou, Fritz Hansen, Kartell, Schiffini and others.
Vico Magistretti's works have been shown in some of the most important museums in Europe, the United States, and Japan and are included in many permanent exhibitions around the world. He received many awards, including the Gold Medal at the 1951 Trienniale, the Grand Prix at the 1954 Trienniale, two Compasso d'Oro awards in the years 1967 and 1979 as well as the Gold Medal of the Chartered Society of Industrial Artists and Designers in 1986.See other lights/products from Vico Magistretti
