The product is fine, buti was disappointed in the service. I received the wrong order first ( desk lamps ).

I purchased this as a chair side reading lamp because of its light level and position adjustments. It was easy to assemble and looks sharp in black. Despite another reviewers complaint about the power cord, while it does attach 2/3 of the way up, it neatly tucks into a groove as far down toward the base as you choose and is held in place with provided plastic stays. It's also a very long cord, which is a plus. My only (minor) complaint would be that the lamp head rotation is limited by the joint when it's pointed down past even with the arm as it folds into itself a bit. Other than that, I'm quite happy with it.

Sharp looking and easy to use. Lamp turns on and off with simple touch. Takes only a handful of steps to put lamp together but clips to hold wire in place are VERY difficult to install. No directions included for clips but phone call to customer service explained best way to 'wiggle' clips in place.

Interesting lamp with modern energy saving design but there is a problem with my lamp that probably is fixed with further production units, but you can't go wrong with the warranty and customer service with yLighting. Retro kit to fix lamp is on the way.

I bought the Equo Gen to solve a lighting problem in my office. I ordered the black finish with the warm 3500K light. The quality of the light is good for reading and desk work. The design is very sleek and the lighting arm moves smoothly with good counterbalance. The intensity of the light is sufficient to illuminate a 3 foot span of a desk. Unlike a lamp with a shade, this light is directional, so you'll want another light on in the room. My only critique is that the power cord attaches to the unit about 2/3's of the way up the vertical stand. Given the sleek design, the manufacturer should provide a better solution.

This floor lamp provides excellent light for reading but the user can also dim the amount of light for use as ambient lighting in a room.

The lamp is also attractive with a sleek modern look.

I'm very pleased with this lamp. My only suggestion for improvement is to change the color a bit. I bought the orange lamp and it's a bit glaring. I would have preferred a less bright orange.
