The line is available in large rectangular or square tops. TopTop Rectangular Cafe Table is an original table that simultaneously combines a polished and transparent surface. The line is minimal, simple and essential. The tapered and transparent legs with squared section and pleated surfaces have a metal core. Precious Wengé wood and bleached oak variations enhance and complete the line, in addition to the glossy lacquered polyester top. Also available in square version. Having designed furniture, hotels, mega-yachts, lighting and many others throughout his career, Starck has become a fixture in modern design. Not only does Starck create beautifully unconventional designs, he creates a finished product whose main purpose is to function well before anything else. Philippe Starck has obtained many important acknowledgements, including the Grand Prix National de la Création industrielle and the Honor Award of the American Institute of Architects. He earned a diploma of design and interior design from "La Llotja" Art School in Barcelona, 1996.
