    Trix is composed of three cushions of different sizes linked by an elegant system of rubber bands. With a simple rotating movement, they can be transformed and used in different ways. Trix can be a comfortable seat for two people. It can also be turned into a cosy bed, a comfortable lounge chair and a welcoming arm chair.

    Trix is composed of expanded polyurethane and is upholstered in three-dimensional woven polyester technical fabric.

    Piero Lissoni

    Italian Piero Lissoni is a designer and architect with a degree from the Polytechnico of Milan. In 1986 Lissoni founded the Studio Lissoni. Since then Piero Lissoni has worked with a dense list of design brands, such as Boffi, Cassina, Kartell, Living Divani and Flos on a wide diversity of designs of furniture and lighting.

    Lissonis's projects are often total designs, such as full-scale interiors and architecture of hotels, offices and showrooms, yachts and private homes. He's inspired by many different elements but also designers such as Danish Arne Jacobsen and Poul Kaerholm.

    Piero Lissoni's design principle is never to design for a specific function or purpose - but to design for human beings.

    Trix - not just for kids - Great Product

    I love this item. I got it in orange as a color accent piece. It is so versatile: can be a sofa, ottoman, chaise, extra bed. The fabric is durable and easy to care for; and, unlike some of the other Kartell products, it is very comfortable for everyday...Although I do adore my ghost chairs as well. I would recommend Trix as both a sophisticated and utilitarian design piece.
