Design by Ferruccio Laviani.
Made in Italy by Kartell.

A pendant of simple and essential design, the E' suspension lamp consists of the pleated polycarbonate lampshade and a chrome metal rosette. The cable is adjustable in length between 12".

Toobe by Ferruccio Laviani was conceived from the idea that the use of a PMMA extruded tube could, according to length, become either a floor or table lamp. Thanks to an innovative coloring technology, Toobe is the first Kartell product to be "faded" to permit a special light to be diffused within the cylinder. The line is simple and modern. The handle in the lamp body makes the pole functional and easy to move. Select from five transparent color options. Also available in a table lamp.

Great addition to our contemporary home.

This lamp is definitely not for everyone, but for those who love modern design it is great. It is a simple design but very striking. It was well packed and arrived safely and quickly. The color looks orange when off and becomes more yellow when turned on.

Modern looking but not very practical

I bought this lamp to replace the old lamp in the family room. With the 100W G-type bulb it comes with, I can hardly read a book even if I'm sitting right next to it. The orange tube made it even worse, it feels like I'm sitting in dark!

One would think with something this expensive, it should give better lighting performance. I'm selling this lamp and looking for a replacement.
