This fixture is indispensable for bathroom locations where the fixture is mounted on to the face of a mirror. In such location the mirror will reflect back to the viewer the back and inside of a fixture. Most wall mount luminaires do not have finished backs or nicely designed internal hardware and the mirror will unfortunately reveal that. This fixture is is more than just the pretty face that the pics illustrate. Mounted on a mirror the back of the fixture is revealed as being as pretty as the front and the lamp hardware is shield within the the 3-D glass diffuser.

I looked at a great deal of fixtures before my purchase. I found the best pricing and user friendly 'tear- sheets' at Y Lighting. Make certain you have ample space to slide the glass shade out/in to of the fixture. The 'globe' side plate set-screws are a bit small and tricky to insert. Two sets of hands makes this fixture an easier install. I choose a dimmer to compliment the fixture- the 3 light model offered more lighting than I needed for my small 8x10 bath.

The fixture arrived very well packed and looks wonderful in my small bathroom. I have had a number of visitors comment on the fixture. After the back of the fixture was mounted (piece of cake), the right-hand side of the box was easy to attach since I am right handed and I had plenty of clearance on the right side. The left-hand side took a long time because of how tricky it was to sneak behind the fixture and because on the left, the fixture is close to a corner. So just be mindful of tight clearances. Love the fixture now that it's on the wall!

We ordered the Bath and the ELF2 for comparison while redoing two baths. The Kovacs is really pretty - the tube is flush with the nickel plate which I did not expect based on the photos but actually liked much better than the fitting on the ELF2. If you look closely you can see why this is less expensive than the ELF, primarily the interior tube lights are not precisely spaced; but it is beautiful light and sits nicely above the mirror now. Very happy, and congratulations to the manufacturer for making such a neat light at a bearable price point!

The comtemporary, architectural angles of this fixture are softened by the rounded and and opaque glass surrounding the bulb. This is the perfect size to fit horizontally over a 23 inch or smaller medicine cabinet. The light is handsome and a good value. The less than 5 star rating is due to the slightly complicated bulb replacement.

I installed this fixture in my half bath this past weekend, and it looks fantastic! The light is very bright, but not too much so, perfect for a small half-bath. It is a sturdy fixture--all metal and glass. It came with one extra bulb--but not sure where I'd find replacements--I guess online somewhere. The Bath light looks great installed, and at this price is a bargain. The only negative is replacing bulbs, which requires that screws on one end are removed, and the holder is slid out (make sure you have room on one side or the other when you install). Hopefully this won't have to be done very often.
