By: Diane, Homeowner (stamford, ct) Sleek little pendants that provide tons of light. We purchased three individual pendants to be installed over our kitchen counter. They were packaged very soundly - I was happy I didn't have to worry about broken glass. An electrician installed them, so I can't speak on that aspect. The brushed nickel finish looks great with our stainless steel appliances. The satin white glass glows beautifully when the lights are on. We have them on a dimmer switch, and they are gorgeous in all degrees of brightness. What you can't see in the picture is that there is a small hole in the bottom of the glass where the lightbulb goes (about 1-2 inch diameter). The lightbulb is high enough up in the glass so that direct view of the bulb is avoided unless you try to see it. The few negatives are tiny, but could affect your decision: it's been a few months and the thick plastic cable still has not straightened out completely (very subtle bends), because the lights are so small the canopy is very prominent (almost as wide as the lights), expensive! We purchased these pendants because they go so well with our decor... we're very happy with them so far.
