The ribbed tube surrounding the bulb makes the light sparkle. Three hung in a row are dazzling. By: Pat, Designer (new orleans) Disappointed; nice lines but too "industrial" even for our modernist house. Very well made and very easy to install. However, we had a problem with the nature of the light emitted. It was cold and, perhaps because of the bulb, had very noticeable red highlights. OK in a bar but not in our kitchen. The main glass tube, however, was very elegant. In the end, even if we could have changed the bulb, the overall look, showing the metal parts inside, was too industrial even for our modernist house.
