To be honest, we haven't installed these yet. We wanted to get a sense of just how bold and taste-specific these pendants would be, which Y Lighting makes possible, given their return policy. Had we not liked it, we would only be out some money for return shipping. It IS a bold and contemporary design, but also distinctive and really quite versatile -- we can easily choose to play up the colors for an edgy touch or the earthy tones to help ground the space. Because of that, we think they'll have a longer-lasting appeal than something that seemed like a good idea at the time but tire of quickly. We're going to order two more to hang over our island once the kitchen is done. Having them now helps us select granite and other finishes that will complement and not compete with them. Very happy with Y Lighting so far and will continue to make them a go-to source for our lighting needs, especially for the kind of things you really need to see 'in person' and not just as a flat image in a catalog or on a website.

We think the opal Monty Pendant Lights are wonderful, our best lighting purchase. We have two of them over our kitchen island, they give sufficient light and they add a special beauty to the kitchen. As important, the sales person that we worked with at YLighting was very helpful, courteous and a pleasure to work with. My only complaint it that the opening on one of the Pendants is smaller then the other and this leads to less of the conical connector showing at the top of the glass shade.

Best price I found on this product. This is the second time I've purchased these pendant lights. They buyer of my last house loved'em so much, that included them in the purchase contract as a must have. So.... I had to buy two more for my new house. They're are beautiful pieces and really provide a nice amber light that really make my cherry cabinets pop.

love the soft glow the mocha light produces. Plenty of light for a small dining table. Pattern changes on the sides of the pendent-still very nice but the millifiore pattern does not go all the way around, overall a great artistic light
