The aesthetics of this lamp are top notch. It is a work of art akin to a Calder mobile, only grounded on my desk. I was worried initially about the light output, but the lamp delivers a considerable amount of warm light. Although a bit pricey, knowing that this lamp will last for a very long time as well as its sharp looks and quality materials help justify this purchase.

I have been following this lamp since it was set to be released under the Joby brand and couldn't be happier now that I have one on my desk. Mine is in white, and the soft touch coating is the perfect compliment to its organic form. The images perhaps belie the fact that the large version is quite sizable, with a large range of motion thanks to the ball joints.

The joints themselves can be tightened down with an included wrench which proved to be quite handy. While this is ostensibly to keep one handed movement fluid over time, I actually chose to place the lamp on a nearby bookshelf, cantilevered over my workspace, and tightened down the joints to retain the shape that I ultimately liked.

The led light head throws off a wonderfully large, even light with selectable settings for high, low and off through a touch sensitive bump on top of the light head itself.

Having been in touch with both the designer and North American distributor, I'm confident not only in the light itself but also in any service or support should the need arise. A great addition to my lighting collection.

My husband I were looking for a lamp for our living room that would provide both task and ambient lighting. We looked at a good couple hundred lamps online and liked this one at first glance. We ordered it in white. It arrived and proved to be very flexible in where you can direct the light. The led lighting was calming and nice quality and is apparently very energy efficient. We happened to receive one that had a crack in the sheathing where the joints come together, so sent it back to Ylighting. The return was smooth as you would hope in a situation like this and Erin took great care of us. The lamp is a true beauty and the finish is nice to the touch.
