the first thing i liked about this lamp was its beautiful proportione.

The second thing I liked about it was the fact the printed fabric is made using 100% recycled PET fabric made from plastic bottles and water-based inks.

Last but notleast, it is designed and made in the USA at a price that is very competitive with any imported similar product.

It took over 6 months to receive this item due to issues with the shade. Though my client is happy to finally receive it, the quality of shade is still not up to professional standards: The folded seams at the top and bottom rims show buckling, the vertical seam placements are not in-line such that shade needs to be turned in a specific direction. The shade material is a bit thin.

THe lamp arrived in two boxes with the shade especially well packed for protection. There was minor set up which was intuitive (unlike many other light assembly instructions. The lamp is well designed and built with quality materials.

The lamp arrived on schedule, was assembled in less than 5 minutes, and looks great, the cord is run inside one of the legs which helps give a cleaner look, the red shade has a nice color. When the lamp is on you see the fabrics woven details, it looks more monotone when the lamp is off.

It was easy to assemble. The scale of the lamp is perfect for the room, which is usually used for television and movie viewing. The lamp produces a soft glow to the room which is not intrusive for viewing TV or films but at the same time it provides enough light for the persons sitting near it to be reading. The Weegee floor lamp is a great value as it is large, gives off a lot of diffused light (with the white linen shade) and is made of high quality materials. I like the floor switch to turn it on and off but wish it had a built in dimmer. I'm thinking about buying a table one to match!
