I work in a design store in the Florida Keys and have always found the staff at Ylighting to be knowledgeable and helpful. The same goes for the website.
But I did run into one small problem with a monorail system....I wasn't aware that the rail itself did not hold a complex shape. I was using the cable to suspend it from a particularly high ceiling....instead of the rigid standoffs.
This resulted in my needing to order extra parts, paying for overnight shipping, electrical contractors having to return to the jobsite another day, and a considerable loss of margin on the job.
I would recommend that this information be "flagged" on the website to prevent this scenario from happening to another design store. I for one have learned my lesson and will not make this mistake again in the future.
