We are using this kit to light some artwork in our great room, and it is much higher quality than some of the 'big box store' versions. More expensive, but you get what you pay for. The installation instructions are a little cryptic, but if you take your time you will figure it out. And if not, the support line is very helpful... as I can attest first-hand. We are considering ordering another stainless steel version for the kitchen.

I purchased this product as a result of its positive rating creating high expectations. The "kit" exceeded expectations the moment I opened the box. The materials from the light to the hardware are well designed and of high quality including the instructions.

The greatest challenge is in the formation of the rail design, yet with some pre-planning and patience the result was consistent with the overall quality. Installation also requires patience and is best accomplished with a second person. Again, I was impressed with the quality of the hardware for installation.

Overall, an excellent value and the light is a perfect addition to my kitchen upgrade.

Replacing the ugly, default ceiling light in a small, oddly-shaped bedroom with this monorail + small lights has completely transformed it. The dressing corner is now bright enough, and the amber glass with the halogen bulbs are warm and sparkly. We're now re-examining other rooms for lighting improvement, based on the difference this made.
