Original track burned at connection to wall mount which is why i had to get this new one. Bought the original in 2003. Is this how long they last?

We looked at Tech Lighting and found it beyond our budget. WAC lighting was very easy to install and is beautiful. A+

The rails worked out fine eventually, but are very difficult to bend evenly. The tendancy is to spring back to original position unless bent very sharply. If you're not careful, though, the rails will wind up with a kink. To get a smooth curve, you must move along the rail an inch at a time, and bend it just enough so that it won't spring back, but not enough to leave a kink. Repeat until the proper curve is achieved. Very slow process!
I tried making various forms to bend the rail over, but nothing really worked.

The entire Solarail system works well and is very well integrated.
easy to order.
just wish there were smaller standoff so the rails stand closer to the ceiling.

Bought rail and light heads and connecting parts and it works perfectly for lighting my galley kitchen. Have to pay attention to number of heads and wattage or you might need a two circuit track.

The Solorail product line is fabulous. We have a mixture of LEDME spots and pendant lights for a U-shape design. It provides a great look for our remodeled kitchen!

We put up three Solorails in our living room with old beams original to our house. The adjustability of the rails worked perfectly with the varying height of the beams and the dark bronze echoed the color of the beams. They look great, work effeciently, and allow us to put light right where we want it, both at the walls and the beautiful ceiling.
We bent one into a slight bow and another bend that ultimately turns the rail by 90 degrees. The rails took the bend well.
