AuroRa is a pre-programmed, wireless, radio frequency lighting control system that provides remote control of lights in and around your home.
The AuroRa system is easy to use, simple to install and gives you control of five areas of light. Control your system lights from a tabletop master control, a wireless controller, or from individual wall dimmers.
The Security package offers the same benefits of the AuroRa Entry packages, with the added benefit of lights turning on and locking to full bright when the system is activated. The entry lights can also be set to flash.
This security dimmer system provides every thing you need to start:
- (5) Dimmers
Install like a standard switch. Adjust light levels with the slider - large button turns on and off. Control up to 600 watts incandescent/halogen loads. - (1) Wireless controller
Place on the car visor, mount on a wall, or carry it with you. (3) buttons control your lights: "All on" turns system lights on to full bright; "All off" turns system lights off; "Favorite" turns all dimmers on to their locally set light levels. - (1)Master control
plug into standard wall outlet and place on a table. Select a room buttom to turn lights on individually (dimmers turn on to their locally set light levels). Press "All on" to turn system lights on to full bright or "All off" to turn lights off. - (5)Designer inserts
Snaps onto the front of the dimmer. For use with large opening wallplates. - (1) Security interface
Plug into a standard wall outlet and place in a central location. Integrate security system with lighting control via contact closures (i.e. relays). - An offer for an additional free controller and extended warranty, provided by Lutron, details in kit.

Lutron + Leviton Dimmers
We carry both Lutron and Leviton dimmers, including hard to find magnetic low voltage and electronic low voltage dimmers.
What kind of dimmers do I use with my low-voltage transformers?
Most lighting manufacturers recommend that low voltage lighting be used only with dimmers designed especially for the transformers that make low voltage lighting possible. Since there are two types of low voltage transformers, there are two types of low voltage dimmers - magnetic low voltage and electronic low voltage.
Unlike most low voltage lighting, WAC Lighting's electronic low voltage systems are designed to work with incandescent dimmers that are less expensive than the specialty dimmers designed for low voltage loads. The WAC Lighting magnetic low voltage lighting systems can only be used with magnetic low voltage dimmers. The bulk of the low voltage lighting we carry, including track fixtures and low voltage light bars, use the electronic transformers that are compatible with standard incandescent dimmers. However, some customers do experience flickering or humming when an incandescent dimmer is used with a low voltage electronic transformer. To avoid these problems, we recommend Lutron dimmers designed specifically for electronic low voltage applications.
