The Pakhus Pendant was designed in 1984 by architect Erik Møllers Tegnestue for the Royal Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Copenhagen. Better known as the "Eigtveds Warehouse," it was filled with many rooms and low ceilings. Tegnestue developed the Pakhus to be small and minimalistic in application and yet allow optimal light distribution both upwards and downwards. The bottom ring of the fixture eliminates direct glare from the source resulting in an uninterrupted, warm and glowing effect.
