4. Are the LP, MI, ME and MO available in any other styles other than the ones specified?

No – on large orders, however, special requests can be accomodated. Contact us for more information.

5. Can I order the LP, MI, ME or MO fixture in 75W?

No. The LP, ME and MO are only rated for 50W, and the MI is rated for 35W.

6. What is the difference between an LP-007 and an LP-007P?

The “P” (portable) indicates that the fixture is installed with a 9’ cord and plug to be used as a portable unit. The LP-007 is for direct wiring.

7. How do I order an LP, MI, MO or ME with an 18" extension? What about with swivels?

These units can be extended 6”, 12”, 18", 24", 36" or 48". They are especially made to order at our facility. They are shipped as a complete unit from the factory. When the unit is extended, we do not supply the 6' cord and plug. To order, specify the style number, followed by the length and color, i.e., LP-808/X18-BK. An example of an extension with a swivel is ME-007-X24S-BK.

8. Can an LP-808 fixture with an 18" be mounted off a wall horizontally?

It is not recommended because the weight may not hold.

9. Can these fixtures be installed in a damp location?

Yes - they are suitable for damp locations (porch or bathroom), but not wet.

10. Do I need to purchase a separate transformer for the PAN fixture?

No - the unit contains a 150W electronic transformer in the round base (11" diameter).

11. What type of dimmer is required on the PAN fixture?

Being that the transformers are electronic, you will need a standard incandescent dimmer. Our electronic transformers are especially designed for use with almost all styles of such dimmers.

12. Can the PAN fixture be hard-wired?

Yes - the unit has knock-outs located at the back plate for direct wiring.

13. Can I use a three 75W lamps with the PAN fixture?

No - The maximum is three 50W MR16.

14. Can I order an PAN with an 18" extension?

No - The PAN units cannot be extended.

15. Can I order the PAN in any track head style?

They are available in three styles – 802, 809, and 826. We will quote on larger quantities of other style heads.

16. What colors do the PAN fixtures come in?

Black and white, the 826 is also available with brushed nickel.

Remodel Housings
In contrast to new construction housings, remodeling housings are appropriate when you have limited or no access to the space above a new fixture, such as in an apartment or a home without crawl spaces or attics above.

In contrast to remodeling housings, new construction housings are bulkier and need to be installed between joist beams or onto hangar bars and thus you need full access to the space above the fixture. Non-IC Rated
Non-IC stands for: non insulation contact. Thus, non-IC-rated housings must be kept at least 3 inches away from any insulation.
IC Rated
