    Designed for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark, this modern classic features an asymmetrical shape and tiltable head. AJ Floor creates direct and angled illumination. The lighting characteristics make it suitable when placed in a situation where distinct and directed illumination is required. When the lamp is tilted downwards, the edge is horizontal. The inside of the shade is matte white enamel. The screening is effective so you cannot look up into the light source. Using a clear incandescent lamp the light is exploited the best way and the light rays delineated precisely.

    9 ft. power cord with in-line on/off foot switch.

In 1928 he received the Academy's gold medal, but prior to this, when only 23, he was awarded a silver medal at the 1925 Paris World Exhibition — the first of numerous honours that became a natural accompaniment to his artistic activities, his untiring search and his brilliant conceptions, made manifest by many successes in competitions at home and abroad.

    Beautiful and seamless

    I love this lamp! Very well designed and durable. I love that the head is adjustable to accommodate different lighting needs. It's seamless and versatile with a bold design that doesn't take over the room, yet adds so much! Not a surprise coming from Poulsen!

    A classic floor lamp and still a great design!

    Even nicer in person than in the pictures. Goes perfectly (of course) with my other mid-century modern furniture. Laura Ascolese was very helpful and accurate about availability, shipping date and delivery time.

    This is a classic lamp with great lines. Quality is very good and has a useful floor switch.

    Y-lighting has shipped two lights so far and both have been packed very well with no damages. Amazing given how delivery services toss packages around.

    Will not hesitate to order more in the future. Also, the selection is astounding.

    The AJ Floor Lamp is stricking and everyone comments on it. The structure is strong and the paint finish great. The light does not dim, just on and off. Just noticed in the new Batman movie that Bruce Wayne's office had these in it.
