We like this light a lot and it looks very nice in our living room next to our sofa. I wish that these types of lights would come with dimmer switches in the cord rather than just on/off switches--it would make a very good light a great light.

I'm drawn to simple, functional, well designed yet beautiful objects. These lamps definitely fit into those categories. Their design is so simply perfect. They are a perfect accent in any decor but especially one w/ more hard edges and straight lines-a soft cylindrical place for the eye to rest. The linen shades defuse the light nicely-no hot spots. The pictures do not do them justice. They are center stage in a room even when they are off in a corner. Your eye can't help but be drawn to hem.
