    Q:  AWL 03 junction box vs 4" plate

    A:  Regarding which option to choose for the AWL.03- The miniature junction boxes are typically chosen if you are starting from scratch- ie- there is no light or junction box currently installed in the location. The 4 inch plate is for retro fits- ie if you currently have a light installed there and it is using a standard junction box, you will need the plate to cover the box. If you are unsure about these, your electrician should be able to tell you which application suits your needs. As for the light output, there are two lamps, one shines up and the other shines down.

    Q:  Can the AWL be wired for two switches?

    A:  Each socket has it’s own wires that are joined in the back box. The EC can simply separate the wires so they can be switched independently.
