We were looking for a small wall sconce for above a doorway where there was very little room. It was quite difficult finding a sconce that was small but also attractive. This one fit the bill. We just installed it and so far have had no issues.

My only constructive comment is for the manufacturer to provide attachment screws long enough to attach the fixture through the escutchion plate. The screws the fixture came with did not account for the depth of the plate.

Otherwise the fixture is ver attractive, with a nice painted aluminum finish.

We used 2 of these fixtures over our front door on a renovation of a typical Brooklyn brownstone. I was worried they might be too modern for the traditional facade of our building, but they look great. Also, I really like the upward / downward cast of light, and think it's a great option to be able to change to one or the other or use both, as we do. In all, recommend highly. We are buying two more for the back of our house.

Ordered 2 of these with the standard junction box canapy plate, which is larger than the sconce. Haven't installed it yet, but I imagine the extra metal will make this appear bigger / give off some more light from reflections. Overall it looks great!

The lights were smaller than I expected, based upon the website picture, but that is my husband's fault for not reading the dimensions before we bought. :-)

The fixtures materials and construction are extremely high quality, and the installations instructions were very clear. My husband was able to install them himself.

They look great!!!
