I ordered this lamp after seeing it in my daughter's home. She was using it as a light over her bed for reading, which is what I wanted it for. I ordered it and the first one that came did not work, but the company picked it up and replaced it, and it is now on the flat area of my bed, behind my head. The light is bright white, and enables me to see clearly what I am reading. It is a considerable investment, but it has amazing flexibility, and is sleek and non-intrusive. I recommend this product.

My experience with LED lamps has been quite mixed, though the Ninety is one that gets the best reviews from colleagues and users. The total quality of the light output is quite nice and €”much warmer than many LEDs. Raw output seems good, though the illuminated area is fairly small. The intensity is adjusted on a continuum with a small button hidden on the underside of the lamp head.

The Ninety works best as a dedicated desk reading lamp with some broader "task" utility. The positioning for reading applications works well (the rotating base mechanism has a surprisingly solid feel), though the limited vertical range is important to consider.

The visual presence and profile of the Ninety is appropriately minimal; the specialized strengths don't lend themselves to significant real estate or a large desk footprint. It's compact and lives well in most modern environments.

This task lamp is way cool. We ordered the gray color for a client and it is so streamlined and sleek set on the desk. The gray is more of a charcoal color and the illumination is perfect in all lighting conditions. The swivel aspect is smooth and sturdy. Its a perfect addition to an office if you want modern, sleek, minimal, but well lit!

Light quality is excellent. Temperature of LED is like that of halogen, but without the heat. There is some heat but it radiates upwards from the lamp assembly.

Very nicely sized power adaptor block attaches to wall outlet keeping entire lamp assembly thin.
