Perry King

Perry King was born in London and studied at Birmingham School of Art under Naum Slutsky, after working in the United Kingdom for a short period he moved to Italy in 1964 and began a collaboration with Olivetti which lasted over ten years. In 1975 the Kind and Miranda studio was founded. From the very beginning their work was characterized by the conviction that design is an important part of culture and by the consequent necessity of approaching their work not only with pragmatism and respect for technology but also with respect for those values that are inherent in a vision of design as an integral part of a much wider cultural context.

Santiago Miranda

Santiago Miranda was born in Seville in 1947. After completing his studies in his hometown in 1971 he started working in Milan. In 1975 the Kind and Miranda studio was founded. From the very beginning their work was characterized by the conviction that design is an important part of culture and by the consequent necessity of approaching their work not only with pragmatism and respect for technology but also with respect for those values that are inherent in a vision of design as an integral part of a much wider cultural context.
