It is a gorgeous light. It does look like an infinite loop of white ribbon. The material is a wood veneer but it does feel like plastic - which I think is good because that means it is durable and treatable.

I did see the smallest version of this lamp hung in succession when visiting an extremely prominent tech company in their lounge. That effect was stunning too. There were five hung above a lounge high bar top area.

We wanted a unique dining table light that had a soft ambient light for dining. We have a very contemporary and zen decor and this fits perfectly. If you need bright light, this is not for you as it is only 1-100watt bulb and the veneer cast nice shadows of light.

If you don't want the average ho hum dining fixture, this one is a conversation piece. It isn't very bright but instead provides mood lighting. The wood veneer look is very warm.

This light is great for the money. One note of caution, it was a bit smaller than I thought it would be from the photo, and rests very flush to the ceiling, so it doesn't work as well in rooms with bigger ceiling heights. We ended up changing the room we ultimately put it in because of this fact. Love the way the light looks and the quality for the money!

I purchased the Link Suspension Light - Large. I selected this light to hang above my dining room table. I spoke with the customer service agent in advance of ordering and I'm glad that I did. He steered me toward the more natural stained woods instead of colored tints, as a more formal look versus fun. I received the light from Italy and it's gorgeous. While I haven't yet hung it, because it requires an electrician, I am very happy with this purchase!

Our architects Sunny and Jon created an incredible design for our Kitchen and Dinning room. Barbara, the construction supervisor sweated the ALL details of making it happen while keeping us comfortable in other parts of the house.

Amongst the 1000’s of decisions required before the project was completed one had not been made: the dinning room fixture.

As the rooms were completed and we could see and feel the space, the YLighting web site became invaluable for comparing and discussing products. It brought a great collection of the finest fixtures to our dinning room table laptop computer were we could discuss them casually and in the space where they would eventually live.

In the end, we chose the LZF knot, and purchased at the best price possible. This dynamic fixture does not define the space but fully compliments the design.

Great post sales service from the Ylighting staff. I’ve recommended them to everyone who needs to know where we found this fixture.

It is worth keeping in mind that not all hand crafted fixtures can come off a shelf and ship the day the are ordered. Our fixture was made in Spain. Shipping took a few weeks but to get the exact color and style was well worth the wait. The YLighting staff kept us fully informed as we waited our delivery.

The only "issue" i have with this product is that I purchased it online and the color sample shown online is not consistent with the actual color of the fixture. The photo of the item showed it as a more white finish, while the color of the sample showed it as more cream. It is actually neither of those colors, but somewhere inbetween. I wish there could be more true representation of the color.

This is a beautiful modern light that we put in our stairway. It's organic shape really creates a hanging work of art. It does not give off much light. So, if you need it to illuminate an area, beware that very little light is given off. However, if you want a stunning light fixture to add a contemporary feel to your space, this light is great!

This looks good as a show piece and it looks different from every angle. I watched people keep on looking around it cause the flow of the wood makes your eyes travel around the lamp. Its unique and quite edgy but the cherry wood grain adds a sense of warmth and welcomes the visitor.

The actual material was not what I fully expected. The wood veneer is very thin, almost flimsy to touch. And the Cherry veneer was very light in color. The color was between the Beech and Cherry color. I was expecting it to be darker, like the online swatches, to complement the walnut flooring. I called the distributor and was told that since its natural wood, it will have a variation in color.
