Design by Ray Power.
By LZF.

Link is part of an on going study of form, repetition and geometry. Sumptuous curves create an organic yet regular pattern that is endlessly engaging to the eye and glows in tones from light to dark. The lamp explores the maximum potential of the Timberlite® veneer. Provides diffused ambient illumination.

Timberlite® is a patented treatment used to stabilize the veneer prior to manipulation. The polyester finish gives the veneer the resistance necessary to be used in the flexible forms and also facilitates cleaning and maintenance of the veneer.

Available in choice of colors, with brushed nickel canopy and detailing.

LZF's wood veneers are selected to reveal the best natural wood grain effects when illuminated and all have been sourced from forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council - FSC. Nothing comes close to the beauty of these veneers as a diffusion material and no other veneer treatment gives the strength and the protection to the material without sacrificing the delicacy and subtleness that this natural material communicates when illuminated.

Honors include 2007 Design Plus Material Vision Award and 2008 Good Design Award.

Lzf Lamps

Lzf Lamps, or Luzifer as they were originally called, is a small company from Valencia, Spain. Founded by Marivi Calvo and Sandro Tothill towards the end of 1994, this company has been producing handmade lights exclusively out of wood veneer right from the beginning.

This noble material creates a spectacular lighting effect, projecting the internal beauty of the wood and radiating a delicate, warm and attractive atmosphere to both domestic and contract settings. Winner of two Good Design, two Design Plus and one Red Dot prize, Lzf has found its place amongst niche market suppliers worldwide.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shockingly Gorgeous Lamp This lamp is my favorite thing in the house. The small size is perfect for over the dining room table. Installation was simple, and the height is easy to adjust. The cherry finish is light brown and slightly dull when the lamp is turned off, but when turned on, it comes alive: it glows deep red/orange/brown and you can see the grain of the veneers beautifully. It's so delicate and airy, it gives the impression of being weightless. Against the navy walls of my dining room it looks stunning. Every time I walk past the lamp I'm blown away by how drop-dead gorgeous it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful. Very Mobius-y. Light has a way of transforming this pendant. It's sculptural and lively enough during the day, but when the light comes on at night, its curves are fully activated. The panels recede and come forward with warm light and even warmer shadows. We were choosing between this loopy lamp and an austere cylinder-style pendant. I was nervous to hang something so complex, thinking it would look busy and grow tiresome, but it's surprisingly soothing on the eyes, like a mobius strip. The only downside: the fastening grommets are made of an ugly (white plastic?) material. I wish they were more invisible as they interrupt the smooth flow of the curved strips a bit. These could have been better integrated with the bent wood color (I have the cherry version -- don't know about the other colors). This is a minor complaint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Art of Illumination This is a truly beautiful art object as much as a practical solution to our lighting needs (over dining table). It is simultaneously a source of warm radiance in our open design space and a phantasmic allurer of gazes: friends (and we ourselves) are constantly caught and enamored by the design's simple yet richly evocative continuity of flowing wood veneer (Mobius strip multiplied). It is easy to install and we are using a dimmable G25 LED medium base (light takes on wonderful qualities at different settings of illumination). The American White is not true white but more toward a very light beige or cream color (this works with our decor but should be aware of this difference compared to images online which appear bright white). Thumbs up to Ray Power/LZF Design in terms of concept, quality, execution. Your company's price was the best and worth every penny!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Photo misleading Okay, I have not installed this fixture, but I purchased it largely on the basis of the deep cherry color I saw in the on site photo of the woman in her art studio. Well, it arrived today, and the color is - uh, tan. Okay, maybe dark tan. And I'm certain that it will be more attractive when light hits it, but there is no reason to have such a misleading photo. There is no way this thing will assume a deep, rich, cherry color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love light! We purchased this light for our dining room. I looked online for over a month for the right fixture for us. Our design style is eclectic. We like to combine modern pieces with antiques and other interesting pieces. We purchased the gray Link Suspension Light to match our gray venetian plaster walls. The style is modern, but the wood veneer gives it a natural look. Love light!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It is beautiful. This lamp exceeded my expectations. The proportions and flow of the wood veneer are beautiful. It is elegant and understated but so visually powerful. So much so that I purchased a the Linkchain LK3 Suspension as the real wow factor. Was a budget buster but everyone will remember these lights! Already gave website out to first two people who saw this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This light fixture is one-of-a-kind in terms of its organic beauty. We ordered this light fixture for a small dining area in our Mid-Century Modern mountain home and love it. The quality of the light is appropriate for a residential interior: warm yet bright enough to illuminate our dining table below. The fixture is not only a source of light but also an impressive piece of suspended sculpture in our house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful light We just installed this light in white in our breakfast nook. It looks beautiful. It was installed by electricians about a week ago, so I can't comment on ease of installation or durability. It is a gorgeous fixture though, and looks great both when lit and off. I would definitely recommend this light, as well as the service at Y Lighting.
