    Premiering in 1995, the Romanica series illustrates the origin of LZF Lamps, a collection of lamps made exclusively with reconstructed wood diffusers.

    The simple cylindrical form of Romanica Small Wall Light, highlights the natural beauty of the wood grain and the handcraft, and is offered in four reconstructed wood shades and features a brushed nickel back plate. Dimmable with a Standard Incandescent dimmer (not included).

    Marivi Calvo

    Mariví Calvo (Valencia, 1960) graduated in History of the Art and in Fine Arts at Valencia University 1983. She continued her post graduate studies in Collagraphe in the Pratt Institute, New York and in Holography at the New York Museum of Holography. Marivi has exhibited her work in the U.S.A., Japan and Europe. In 1995 she established, with partner Sandro Tothill, Lzf Lamps (then called Luzifer Lamps), a small business whose primary aim was to develop and create ambient lighting, with her main focus on the investigation and use of new materials with light.

Founded by Marivi Calvo and Sandro Tothill towards the end of 1994, this company has been producing handmade lights exclusively out of wood veneer right from the beginning.

    This noble material creates a spectacular lighting effect, projecting the internal beauty of the wood and radiating a delicate, warm and attractive atmosphere to both domestic and contract settings.
