I mounted the 18 1/2" model on my kitchen ceiling (see my separate review for mod. no. 346) and liked the look so much I carried it out by using the 16" unit (this one uses mounting screwes to hold the glass) in my hall vault. I need another one for a lower location on a different wall of the stairway but will have to use the original 18+" size because I need the lever actuated glass clamp so I can reach it with a ladder, which is still a little dicey. So I'll end up with 2 diff. sizes in the vault but have convinced myself it will still look ok in this highly contemporary setting. My only suggestion is that they allow for a center bolt mounting as I had to drill a hole in the base and, second, I'd like to see the mounting bracket have a little slimmer profile so the glass would be closer to the wall.

This is the slightly smaller (by 2" glass diameter) fixture than the 18" M346. As another homeowner noted, the shade could fit a little closer to the housing - seen from the side. Maybe at a different price point this would be a given. Nonetheless, with a little white tape to seal off any imperfections in wall flatness where the frame abuts it and for the most part you're fine. Any view except an extreme side angle rewards you with a stunning classic shape. At night the effect is gorgeous. You can down-wattage the bulbs to fine tune from illumination device to decorative art. Note: if you have a round electrical box you'll need to drill one ~ 5/8" hole in the fixture base plate to mount. I'm about to buy my fourth one to complete the look in my contemporary home. Two units are mounted high on the staircase walls, two on ceilings.

The light was a wonderful addition to our nursery. It offers a soft, glowing light. We are very happy with it.

We bought this light to replace a hideous spotlight-like pendant lamp in our kitchen, which is generally small and does not have the best natural lighting. The Jesolo M3468 has been perfect-- it casts an even, lovely light throughout, and is simple, modern and unobtrusive. "Unobtrusive" is perhaps a strange word to describe a light, but with the offending pendant gone and the lovely glass Jesolo installed, the kitchen feels bigger, brighter and more welcoming. It's funny how much of a difference this has made in the space.
Additional positives: the light arrived quickly, was immaculately packed to avoid damage, and was easy to install. We're quite pleased, and looking at additional Jesolo lights for other rooms.

This fixture is great for secondary bedrooms where you want something understated but bright. The size is right for a decent size rooms

Very nice looking surface mount fixture, but incredibly difficult to replace bulbs.
