Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from We love our new Aluma ceiling fans We spent considerable time searching for a contemporary fan with a light elegantly incorporated into the design -- that was also very affordable. The Aluma fan looked great online, but even better in our home. The electrician had to run a new wire to the ceiling box due to the 3-way connection required, but it was well worth it. Now we can control the four fan speeds and dim the light from the wall switch -- a big improvement over the old-style pull-chain controls of our old fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Really nice looking, simple with industrial feel. This is a great looking fan. So very simple without all of that ridiculous fussiness you find on most ceiling fans. The blades are squared off at the ends, which gives it a bit of an industrial feel, but not too bulky. This is what they should all look like.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jenni S. from looks great, took some help to install I like the look and the way the fan doesn't stand out from the ceiling. The matte white blades and frosted white globe cover help with that. I had to call my electrician to install because there was an additional wire needed that my prior fan didn't have/need. It does have a small noise on the second highest fan speed, but I am hoping that will just need some adjustment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Phillip Z. from Nicer Than Most If you're looking for a ceiling fan that looks premium, but doesn't stand out too much this is a good solution. My one complaint was that it was the wooden blades painted aluminum did feel a little cheap/unresolved. But overall, it's a huge improvement over most ceiling fans.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Nice fan Installs no problem. A bit heavy, but it doesn't wobble at all. The switch plate looks cheesy. Don't need the big company name on it.

Can we keep our regular wall toggle switch and use a remote control? If so what remote control would I purchase to work with this fan?
Thanks for your question. A wall control is included with the fan. If you are using the fan with your existing wall switch the following remote system can be used in lieu of the included wall control. Just click on the link below and you can add it to your cart. http://www.ylighting.com/mnk-rc223-c.html Please let us know if you have any further questions or need assistance with your product choices.
