The Art of Air Management. Fan motors use copper windings, sealed precision steel bearings, and computer-controlled rotor / stator alignment to ensure minimal noise and optimal air circulation.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Francis Aloysius from Four Fans for a Small House -- Perfect Fit I had a competent contractor install the fans. He left programming the remote controllers to me. It worked in a snap. Now all fans operate independently of one another. The Minka Concept II is quite powerful but quiet. I couldn't be happier. Plus I love the look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from The perfect fan light - quiet, effective and stylish! My designer ordered 2 of these fans. After I moved into the house, I ordered another one and will probably order 2 more. They are so quiet that I completely forget that I have them on. It gets quite hot in Raleigh during the summer but I cannot sleep with the air conditioning on. These fans are great for circulating the air so I can reduce my a/c usage. Another bonus is that you can dim the light. I highly recommend this product and YLighting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by minnegirl from Stylish, modern and classy Love the look of this fan. Contemporary and yet, timeless. The three blade look is much "cleaner" than fans with four and five blades. Quiet and efficient.

Concept II Flush 52 Ceiling Fan is rated out of 5 by 46.
I'm curious if the optional wall switch could be used if I currently have one double wall plate (one switch for light, one for fan on same plate)? And if so, could it be installed after the fan if I decided to purchase it later? Thanks!
Hi there, and thanks for reaching out to us. The fan itself, the wall mount receiver, and the remote transmitter that come included with this package are all wired to interact with one another. In other words, they are not designed to accept signals from a third party receiver that you may already have installed. Sorry about that! The best bet to make sure that everything is in proper working order would be to use the receiver and transmitter that actually come with this unit. If you want to actually take a look at the installation and care instructions, Minka Aire provides some very detailed guides and diagrams that are pretty helpful. You can access these by visiting the "specifications" tab on this product page and downloading the PDF manufacturer instruction sheet by clicking on the provided link. Is this an outdoor fan?
Hi Jenny. This particular model of the Concept II by Minka Aire is not an outdoor fan. But, click the link below to view the outdoor model of the same fan. The "wet" version is designed to hold up outside to whatever mother nature has to offer. http://www.ylighting.com/minka-aire-concept-ii-flush-wet-52-ceiling-fan.html Please let us know if you have any further questions or need assistance with your product choices. can't tell the difference between polished and brushed nickel in pictures. Can you send some that show the difference? Are the blades a different finish?
Hey there! The Polished Nickel is a high shine, almost mirror-like finish that is comparable to polished chrome. In contrast the Brushed Nickel (often also called Satin Nickel) has a soft satin sheen, rather reflective like a mirror.
