The Art of Air Management. Fan motors use copper windings, sealed precision steel bearings, and computer-controlled rotor / stator alignment to ensure minimal noise and optimal air circulation.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Carla S. from I am a fan of this fan! The air circulation, aesthetics, and quality in the Gyro Ceiling Fan are the best you can ask for. I wanted to upgrade the ceiling fan in my workout room (which has an 18' tall ceiling), and found this one. I like the manuveurability and control options this fan offers, making it adaptable to multiple-use rooms. The design is smartly adaptable also, given its modern-retro style and unique structure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from I thought I hated ceiling fans, until this one arrived! I've never really liked indoor ceiling fans mostly due to aesthetic reasons. This one, however, is cool. I turn it on so that my visitors will look at it. Although too soon to tell, I'm sure my a/c bill will be reduced too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wallace R. from Eye catching, unique design with strong construction. This unusual design is located in the sunroom that is the furthest visable point as guests enter our front door. Nevertheless, it is the first thing people comment on without fail. The sale price made this a double win.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pam DeM. from I was very pleased with the look of the fan and the way it works. I have gotten so many compliments on this fan. My contractors said they have never seen anything like it. I think it works better than a regular ceiling fan. The only thing I would like is a remote control for he fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Cool fan! This fan is incredibly cool (pardon the pun). Our electrician who installed it as part of a kitchen renovation said he'd never seen one like it -- and wanted to know where we got it so he could get one for himself! We love it. We were also astonished, frankly, by how quickly it arrived -- a pleasant surprise. All in all, this was a great transaction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Fabulous, functional fan! The fan arrived well packed and in perfect condition. The fan and wall control were easy to install. We installed the fan on a screened porch, and it has kept the room comfortable during the hot, humid summer. We were able to angle each fan exactly how we wanted, and with the slow rotation of the entire fan, it has kept our 500 sq. ft. porch cool. The fan looks even better in person than it does on the website. I highly recommend this fan. I purchased another fan from this same company, Minka Aire, and I am equally happy with that fan.

Can I use a 6' down rod for a cathedral ceiling?
Hi there! This can be mounted to a sloped ceiling with a maximum of a 45 degree slope using the Minka Aire sloped ceiling adapter kit. If you have a steeper slope - you will have to create a secure mounting platform that jets from the ceiling to allow for flush mount instead or mount to a secure beam. The steeper your slope, the longer the downrod you will need to accommodate the fan. Keep in mind that it is recommended to maintain an 8 foot clearance from the bottom of the fixture to the floor.
