The Art of Air Management. Fan motors use copper windings, sealed precision steel bearings, and computer-controlled rotor / stator alignment to ensure minimal noise and optimal air circulation.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Burt G. from Sleek, quiet, beautifully designed fan The fan installs easily, and the remote control provides 6 speeds all of which are absolutely noiseless. The fan's direction is easily controlled from the remote as well. The width of the blade is actually somewhat wider than the photo implies. It's a beautifully designed fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from I love this fan! We bought a white Wing Ceiling Fan for the bedroom. It's truly beautiful there and very quiet. Did not realize that the ceiling canopy would need to be changed for a sloping ceiling, so YLighting helped me special-order the slope ceiling adaptor. Although I had to pay shipping on the extra part, it came quickly, and service was great. Also, the pictures don't make clear that the white is shiny plastic, not matte; I would have preferred matte, but c'est la vie. Still love the fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Very sleek! Expensive but the design is wonderful for someone who wants the air from a fan but does not want a traditional fan look.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Greg D. from Terrific and beautiful fan. The Wing fan is as functional as it is beautiful. My wife and I are very pleased with our product. It's quiet, works well in our large (20' x 14') double height space, and moves much more air than the "traditional" looking fan that was installed in the 1970s. It really is an elegant looking piece. Service from Y-lighting was terrific as well. I would buy another, and recommend on to a friend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from DON'T PURCHASE, DANGEROUS!! Had an electrician install the Wing ceiling fan. After being on for about 2 hours the fan wobbled and gouged the ceiling. The electrician said the assembly holding the bar the fan is suspened from wasn't sturdy enough for the fan. Luckily, I was home and was able to turn it off immediately before it did more damage. Wing Ceiling Fan is rated out of 5 by 5.
Would this fan be a good choice for a bedroom that's 15 x 15' with 9' ceiling? My ceiling is white with tan walls.... To blend in what color fan do you recommend? Thank you! cam ( Minka Aire-Wing Ceiling Fan... Is it modern or transitional?)
Thanks for your interest in this design. This lovely, modern linear design transitions away from a classic fan look by streamlining the body while still being able to deliver the air flow of a multi-blade fan. At its shortest length, the fan would still only drop 10.75" total into the room, which means that it would not feel too imposing in the room, or crowd your conversation space. Sometimes if you have a white ceiling, a white fan is a good option because it would blend nicely into the space and not be a distraction from some of the other artwork or points of interest in the room. However, if you wanted to showcase the fan itself as a focal point in the room, and you don't mind paying a bit extra, the blended woodwork and richness in color of the distressed Koa is stunning. does this fan applicable on seaside location?
Hello, and thank you for your question. The Wing Fan is listed for use in dry, indoor locations only. Even with the sea air, it should work just fine indoors. If you are looking for something outdoors for a patio or balcony, there are fans that are listed as "damp" or "wet." Damp location fans work for moist outdoor condensation, and wet rated fans can come in direct contact with water and the elements. Please let us know if you have any further questions or need assistance with your product choices. Brian - YLighting Customer Support 866-842-6209
