Design by Marc Sadler, 2000.

The richness of its almost ethnic decoration, the essential nature of its long, slender form and the combination of different languages make it perfect for placing in any home or public environment. Wherever excellent light is needed with an elegant, non-invasive presence. A shape that is large yet light, innovative yet timeless, a luminous, seductive paradox.

Floor lamp with dimmer in fiberglass fabric with yellow Kevlar® or black carbon thread. The base is in chrome metal.

"Compasso d'Oro" prizewinner 2001.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dramatic shape - a little overpriced the product has worked out to be exactly what we needed to fill some wall space-- it was not easy to tell from the website what the material is that forms the fixture-- I was surprised it was a relatively light plastic as the images and price seemed it would be more substantial -- never the less its perfect for our need

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It looks very good, and very contemporary We have shipped the product to the Dominican Republic, and it will be installed the first week of January. I can send you a picture of the lamps once they are installed in the Club House

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Modern Beautiful lamp, however the carbon thread came busted in two places. Customer service quickly placed a replacement order. The lamp is finished at the base in chrome metal.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice lamp but... I've had one for about 10 years and the heat intensity from the bulb has faded the top part of the lamp into a dull yellow finish, plus it just burned out me.

Hi there. Can you use a Europe 240V screw bulb with your 110V model of Mite Floor Lamp and vice versa a 110V screw bulb with a 240V model, given they have dimmers? I am looking at this Mite Lamp but want to be able to use it in both USA and Europe.
