I don't think that there is a lot to say about a downrod. It connected (as expected) to the fan and matched the brushed nickel appearance of the fan. Surprisingly no wobbling of the Concept 1 fan even with this 36" downrod.

Because we live in a 100 year old building, the foot long downrod makes our fans workable with our beamed ceilings.

I have 11' ceilings, and chose the 24" downrod. It's the perfect length for my height ceiling - it works so well that I have not had to use my air conditioner in my bedroom yet this summer. I like the dramatic look of the fan hanging two feet down, but I have yet to try the fan on speed 3 - I'm sure it will be fine (it was installed professionally on a steel beam and wooden cross bar in my ceiling) but the long downrod makes me nervous. I'll try speed 3 soon I'm sure.

The Artemis fan needed the downrod to work right for a sloped ceiling. The downrod looks great and drops the fan to the correct height in the room. The combination of fan and downrod was perfect and enhances the room.

The Acero fan is a perfect compliment to my mid-century modern, walnut bedroom furniture. Despite the atypical three blades, it moves the air as you would expect at all three settings. In one room I used the light kit and in another I did not. It looks beautiful both places. Currently the lighted fan in my bedroom is the sole light source and is plenty. YLighting was very helpful in locating the additional down rods I needed as well.

I purchased an Artemis Fan that comes with a 3" & 6" down rods. Unfortunately, I have a 10+ ft ceiling that requires a longer down rod. Therefore, I ended up purchasing a 12" down rod that allows the fan to circulates air so much better than if I had gone with the 3" or 6" down rod. The 12" down rod is very sturdy and does not wobble or make any noise at all. I'm glad I purchase it and would recommend it to anyone whose ceiling height is at least 10 ft.

I had ordered the Artemis Ceiling Fan, completely oblivious to the fact that our contemporary home had exceptionally high, angled ceilings that would effect the placement and height of a ceiling fan. Thank goodness YLighting listed the category of Accessories alongside the Artemis Ceiling Fan Order, otherwise I'd never have even thought about the need for an extension rod!. The rod arrived with the fan, not separately, as I've had happen with other on-line companies and I was able to assemble the entire system without any difficulty. Additionally, the metal downrod matched the wood tone extremely well. Thanks for enabling me to establish the correct air flow pattern for my open, contemporary home with this Downrod!
