This fan is effective at moving air and quiet during operation. No issues have occurred with fan wobble. In addition, the fan is attractive and seems to be solid construction. The fact that it has contains a light that is also controlled by the remote resolved the issue of our bedroom not having a conveniently controlled general light, i.e., our 80's bedroom had the light switch that controlled a power outlet. Two issues have arose, however, that reduced the number of stars for the rating. First, the fan arrived without the remote controller, receiver or halogen bulb. Ylighting ensured that these were sent within a week. Second, coding the receiver to a different remote controller frequency is not as straight forward as Minke Aire make it out to be. I'm still trying to get this to work. If you don't have to change the factory code, the fan and its remoe work right out of the box.

This fan adapts well to a variety spaces, and room sizes. It is easily assembled and hung using the supplied directions. Somewhat inconsistent in being well balanced out of the box without additional work (of 3 fans installed at the same time, 2 showed some wobble above low speed). Moderately quiet, and providing a lighting alternative, this fan model is an overall good value.

This fan is elegant, powerful and silent! Exactly as advertised. The light fixture is larger than I expected, nearly the diameter of a dinner plate, but that was welcome as I was depending on the fixture for lighting as well as moving air, and move air it certainly does.The included remote control works very well. I bought this fan to replace a basic fan in a guest room, that had the dreaded click, click. I bought the polished nickel fan. After I installed it, very easy. The first thing my wife said was that it made the room look great. I have purchased many expensive fans, and this fan shows quality. The way the blades go on the motor is really cool. They just snap in. My only real complaint is that there are only 3 speeds. Top fans have 5-7 speeds. I highly recommend this fan. It is really balanced.

We bought two Zen Ceiling Fans. We installed them both at home, with the help of a friend on the first try, and then a solo effort on the second. The process was straightforward, though I would suggest working with someone who has experience in installing fans before you try it yourself. The fan itself is very quiet at 1st and 2nd speeds and about as quiet as one could expect at top speed. It easily switches between clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation and has thus far worked without a hitch. We would buy another and recommend to others.

I purchased the fan for a bedroom with a 10' ceiling. The fan was easy to install. The 8" extender which comes with the fam was all that was needed for good air flow. You should know that if you do not need the light that comes with the fan, there is a cover which can go over the light shade. If you have low ceilings the Concept I model comes in a model wich "hugs" the celing.

I had already purchased the brushed nickel Concept I 44 for one room and after searching around for the other room that needed a fan, I ended up settling on the brushed nickel Concept I 52 just because it was the best value for the look out there. Both are an extraordinary value since they include the wireless remote control which many fans do not come with at that price. Installation of these is a veritable snap with the fan blades clicking into the easy spring-loaded system. Gone are the days of 3 screws per fan blade. If you've installed fans before, or even if you haven't, you'll find installation of this fan super-simple, even with the slightly additional wiring of the wireless transmitter. It took me a half hour to install each fan. Even if you have two of these, you can set the transmitters to different channels, so that wasn't a problem. The attractive remote allows you to control fan speed (low, med, high, off), rotation direction (summer/winter) and the light (on/off and full range dim control). My only complaint about this fan is that the light button on the remote seems like it should control the light brighter by pressing the top part of the remote's light switch and make the light dimmer by pressing the bottom part of the remote's light switch. In fact, you have to hold down the remote's light switch to cycle all the way down and all the way back up if you want to make it brighter. But for this price (52" blade fan price is the same as the 44" blade fan price!), you really can't go wrong if you're looking for a modern styled fan with a light kit and fully-functional wireless remote.
