We got this to go with our new artemis fan since the control box for our lower living room fan is on another level requiring us to walk up a few stamps and over a bit to change the fan settings.

The remote works great and I've got no complaints with it's functionality. However, it's REALLY BIG. I was surprised at the actual size of the thing. I was expecting something about 1/3 the size. I suspect I might appreciate the size when I get older but it is somewhat incongruous in appearance considering the svelteness of the artemis fan it controls.

We ordered this remote system for our Minke Aire Artemis ceiling fan. This remote is bigger and easier to use than the wall unit that came with the fan. We are pleased to have additional control system. Well worth it.

We purchased the remote unit to accompany the gorgeous Minka Aire Artemis liquid nickel fan which has been installed in the bedroom. It is very handy to keep the remote next to the bed so either the fan or the light can be adjusted or tuned off without getting out of bed. However, when the electrician installed the fan he informed us the fan could be operated with the remote or with the wall switch, but not both. We chose the remote, keeping the wall switch always in the "on" position, but we cannot now flip the light on as we enter or leave the room by the wall switch, which has been our habit. Still, although we wish we could have had it both ways, the remote is very handy.
