This is the best fan it is sleek and modern but warm. This fan is wobble free. the design is amazing. I have nothing bad to say about it. I bought 2 for the bedrooms and it looks great, got the shorter 42 inch blades at first I wasn't sure but the length is just right. Couldn't ask for a better fan.

I am a big fan of the Modern Fan Company products but I am exchanging this one for another one (TBD). The light fixture on this fan is HUMONGOUS. It would suit a VERY high ceiling in a large room, I suppose, but not for my master bedroom. Make sure you measure first.

The cloud fan is aptly named. It seems to float above the room, while the fan blades quietly operate over it. Aesthetically awesome!

I recently ordered and installed the Modern Fan Co. Cloud in a bedroom in our brownstone. Because it was a small room, I ordered the shorter blades and got the CFL lighting option. The fan is powerful and quiet. And the CFL light both lights up quickly enough and has a warm enough coloring to be nice for living areas. And the appearance is stylish. All in all, very happy.

This is one stunning looking fan, however, it is large. The globe is much larger than expected.

The pictures make this fan look simple and elegant - but in actuality it looks kind of chintzy. The 42 in blades are in odd proportion to the globe and the sharp corners of the blades are too stiff in relation to the bulbous globe. The globe itself is fine when unlit - but when illuminated you can see blotchy grey toned markings and imperfections in the glass. Since I ordered it on line and had it installed it can't be returned. I feel really ripped off.

I looked everywhere for the most simple, clean, four blade white fan possible and this is the closest I have come. (Why are thin straight blades so hard to find?) I would love it if there was a version without a light, but this globe light is relatively unobtrusive and produces a pleasant light. We put this fan in the playroom and since the blades are made from a relatively flexible material and seem to have a lot of give, I am less afraid of what might happen if a stray toy gets stuck up there, than I would be if the blades were solid wood. This is a benefit that I hadn't considered before purchasing, but am now grateful for.

Beautiful fan. Very unique. My wife and I looked in all the local home improvement stores for a fan that fit our taste. We found this fan at a local lighting store which ... was twice the price we paid from ylighting.com. They delivered it very fast with no problems at all. The fan is very quiet, and looks great since the light fixture hides the motor. The only issue we had was the glass on the light fixture is very hard to attach. I would definitely recommend Modern Fan Company Fans and Ylighting.com.

Well, it look great, fan works silently, and brightness is good enough for small room.

However there is major design flaw that you need to consider. The glass cover on bottom has to be installed at the very last step, even after you hang the fixture to the ceiling. It is extremely hard to put this cover to the main body, because just three short bolts are holding that up.

'Short' meaning really that it is too short to get all three balance.

I can't image how I am gonna replace the light bulbs in this.

The CFL light fixture was indeed bright enough to light up my whole living room. The light fixture was very elegant designed and fan was powerful. Wish the blades were made of light metal instead of wood.
