It is very nice to have controls on your fan speed at a great value.

A solid good quality fan speed control. Opposite controls than what we would normally think. Zero at the bottom is off, but the slow speed control is at the top, number 4. Easy to get used to, though. Quality is sound....

It's strange that the control has numbers 0-4 with 0 being off, 1 being the fastest an 4 being the slowest. You'd expect it to be opposite. It makes for a weird condition where the fan gets faster as you draw the button down to the off position.

Perhaps my electrician wired it incorrectly.

There are 2 wall controls, so you could install one by the bed, so if you want it on or off at night, you don't have to get up. The other control can be near the entry of the room.
