The Pensi ceiling fan is an elegant fan with clean lines. We are using it in a room with a 2-story sloping ceiling, at the high end, and therefore purchased the optional down rod. Since this fan must be mounted on a horizontal surface, and our ceiling is sloped, we had our carpenter prepare the mounting site for the electrician. This is a large fan, which would overpower smaller rooms. In the appropriate space, it not only looks great but functions beautifully. It's also very quiet. I would highly recommend this product to others looking for a sleek, contempory style ceiling fan.

I purchased the Pensi Ceiling fan in Aluminum for my new master bedroom in my remodeled house. It is beautifully designed with clean lines that perfectly complement the room. It has not been turned off since it was installed. I especially like its quiet operation.

The picture online does not convey how elegant this fan is. My architect, Randall Mars, and I spent 2 hours looking at fans online before deciding on this one. It has exceeded our expectations.

My house is contemporary and the fan looks, well space age.

Love it. This fan is stable at all speeds. It looks great with modern decor. It has three speeds and at the highest speed there is a bit of whirling noise (not shaking, just air) that you may have to get use to. A quality product by Modern Fan. I will get more for other rooms.

Great looking fan for a modern home. Went with all white to go with all white interior. Y-Lighting shipped the product right away and we had it in days at the best price, including shipping and no tax. Very heavy, needed extra support to mount. Added the light option, with dimmer. First of all, the Pensi fan is striking, quiet and useful. It cost more than it needs to, but it is one of a kind. Please note: If you are installing this yourself and you purchase a longer downrod, I HIGHLY recommend that you ask YLighting to loosen the nut located in the upper collar of the fan BEFORE they send you the product. I purchased one and went to three locations with the fan (hardware and auto stores) and no one could remove the nut. YLighting was very understanding and sent me a new fan, free of charge, with a return shipping label and all, so it worked out, but words cannot describe my frustration at the time, especially given the amount of money I spent on the fan. The remote is 100% necessary (and should just come with the fan)!

my one complaint is that the imagine online did not reveal that the fan has two colors - a darker grey for the stem and extension at the bottom and a silver grey for blades and motor housing. i would have preferred to have the fan in one color - silver grey.

The fan itself is great - quiet, stylish, works perfectly.

The only complaint is the remote that was the only option for a remote control: the buttons are badly arranged, and it's ugly, and the array of speed options is too limited. Also, we don't need the light button. A better remote control would be nice.

However, the fan is excellent.

I am so pleased with the simple modern lines of this fan. I was looking for something plane and white but had just a hint of modern mid-century details. I like the square blades. Most other fans have rounded blades, that just wasn't modern enough for the setting. I highly recommend this fan
