I have ordered these units from YLighting for an earlier project (built-in entertainment center) and they worked great. This order was for task lighting under my daughter's loft bed. I like that they include the wires (with nice long leads), housing, lenses all in one package. Other sites sell them all separately. You do have to buy the low-voltage bulbs separately which is not a big deal. They come nicely packaged and are a neutral white which is easy to spray paint another color prior to assembly. Great feature in such a small light is that you can tilt them for accent lighting. They even come with a little cardboard template for cutting the holes in sheetrock or plywood which REALLY helps speed installation. Easy in/out with the spring-tabs so bulb changes are a breeze. I think you can now get LED bulbs for these MR-11 bulbs, but they're fairly expensive. They'll come down. I'd recommend YLighting to anyone.

We're using these in an apartment with concrete slab ceilings and no ceiling lighting, very dark. Rather than use track lights or surface mount j-boxes, we're suspending panels below the slab and recessing these into them. They're shallow so we don't have to drop them more than a few inches and they put out a lot of light for their size. Well built and unobtrusive.

A good quality fixture which is perfect for accent lighting in a cabinet or case. Works best with a spread lens for close range illumination. A small amount of light with spill out of the back of the fixture's ventilation and wiring holes.
