The installed track lighting looks great. I would have given the product '5 stars', but the stainless/brushed light I purchased did not have a black base as shown in the picture. It does'nt match the lighting installed by the original owner, but nothing to be too upset about. I would order from YLighting again.

Great track head and quick shipping. We purchased these at work to replace the older 'bell head' style track heads which sometimes break at the terminals so that you can't get the bulb out. This model 178 on the other hand, is really easy to use, durable, and looks great. I'll be ordering more in the future.

As a noob to track lighting, I ordered up a bunch of heads for my new system. But, one by one, each one wouldn't light up. I checked: there was power going to the track, but the heads stayed dark. The contacts were not hitting the copper strip in the tracks.

And then I discovered the spring loaded collar around each mount. Pull the collar back and the light mount seated perfectly into the track, engaging all three contacts. Lo and behold, there was light.

The heads work perfectly. Just wish there was a little instruction sheet, which could have saved me a half hour of teaching my 9 year old assistant new words.

These heads are less expensive than competing brands, and while they may be of slightly less-expensive build quality, once they're up you'd never know. If you need an open bulb design, this is the best choice.

this is a great track light fixture...however, the bulbs are not included in the order. Bulbs run about $8-$10, so you've got to figure that into the overall cost of the job.

Nonetheless, a great fixture...easy to install, super-fast shipping and a great deal.

when ordering, be sure to specify base color....comes in black or white, but if you're installing on nickel track, base can be ordered in nickel as well.

I have WAC track lighting all over my house. This is a basic, but attractive light that doesn't cost a lot. I use these fixtures with a PAR20 bulb and clip-on barn doors. They look cool but don't cost a lot.

I am a gallery owner and have been replacing all of my more expensive cans with this one. It is sturdy, easy to move around, flexible in terms of bulb capacity, and best of all looks very sophisticated. I find the swivel action especially useful in a gallery situation. The small size of the fixture makes it seamless on the ceiling.
