Installed 6 of these on a dimmer track with 50W halogen bulbs. As mentioned in a previous review, there is a plastic jacket around the mount that must be retracted for the lights to click into the track correctly, and there are no instructions included for this. Once I figured out how that worked, they all installed easily. The lights look and work great.

Although a little pricey for general lighting, they are well built and attractive. With 75w bulbs on dimmers they provide a lot of flexibility.

The Model 774 110VAC lighting fixture is extremely well made. I was surprised at the quality for the price. Tilt and swivel are easy as is insertion/removal from the track (when you figure out you have to lift the bracket).

The lamp was just what I was looking for. My taste is totally contemporary. When purchasing a light bulb make sure to use a shortneck halogen so the lamp sits back and does not stick out.

It looks better than the inexpensive white track lighting that developers use and it matches the black and brushed nickel of my kitchen. I wish it looked more metal like but it is definatelly nicer. I am having trouble finding the halogen par 30 bulbs at grocery stores (they have a part 30 L which stands for long but it sticks out of the casing and does not look nice so I still have to find a par 30 without the L) in the meantime the smaller bulb that was in the original works fine. I also had to return one that did not work and was sent a replacement without having to return the one that did not work.
