Rated 4 out of 5 by from A really like the styling but beware of a potential problem. I first bought this product on a recomendation from a lighting consultant. My wife loves the looks. The major issue I have is that they smoke (albeit imperceptibly) and blacken the ceiling. I think its the coating on the body that gets hot and smokes. They also age and discolor after a few years. These are in a kitchen so its a hostile environment. I have started replacing them. I like the fixcture and plan to keep using them for the next five years or so. Its track lighting so I could just move on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WAC Model 802 track lights: Very clean lines, high-class yet functional The WAC Model 802 track lights -- I chose white to go with my ceiling and beams -- are classy looking, a little bit hi-tech and "star wars" looking but also small enought to hide away. I also got one of them with the 6" adapter arm, this looks very nice and helps position the light correctly t hit some pictures on the wall. I will definately choose this brand again, and maybe add other 802 lights as I need them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A good look for the price This is a fairly inexpensive unit that looks very modern and classy, it does however have the problem of burning out its transformer pretty quickly. In three years I have burned out about eight or ten of these. There is no cost effective way of fixing them, so I just have to buy new ones. I am using them in a retail store, where they are on 8 hours a day, that may be beyond the capacity they were designed for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great-looking track I purchased the WAC track and lights for a remodel of my galley-style kitchen. It looks great with the contemporary style, and puts the light just where I need it. I may order one or two more light fixtures to "fill in". The only disappointment is that these are not available in a brushed stainless steel, but the brushed nickel looks fine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but some of them buzz I have over 60 of these fixtures which I have received from you and some of the transformers do "BUZZ". Given the nature of the transformer, it is understandable that they "hum" when dimmed, but the "buzz" I am referring happens at full voltage. This happens in some fixture more than others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spotlight on quality I have been using the 802 Low Voltage Track Lighting system for years. It is easy to install and move around the heads when ever I want to create a different space. We just love how easy it is to order on-line and within days we receive the item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with the lighting I chose. I did not have uniform lighting on my track so I really liked the small square fixture of the model 802. I purchased 4 lights and have them focusing on different objects in my kitchen. Very cool yet practical !!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice Fixtures These fixtures are compact and have electronic transformers. They use MR16 bulbs that are available in several wattages. I wanted the brushed nickel finish and these filled the bill.

What is the difference between WAC HT-802 and WAC HHT802? Do they fit different types of track?

Asked by: elfiself
Hello there! The difference is one is single circuit and one is double. So the HT will allow you to turn all the lights on the track at the same time. The HHT allows you to have half on one side and the others will be off. I hope that makes sense. Thanks for reaching out! YLighting Customer Service

I need this fixture to work on a two circuit track.  Do they make such a thing?  I bought a bunch of these fixtures.  They work on two circuit track but only on one of the circuits.  I need to be able to switch them around.

Asked by: bjabaay
Hello there. This fixture is only suitable for a single circuit track. Your two circuit track will be compatible with all low voltage, JHT style and line voltage JTK track fixtures. If you'd like to go over some of these options as possible alternatives, please do give us a call anytime at 866.842.6209 and we can assist you. Thanks for contacting us! What's the size of the transformer that connects to the track? Trying to determine how many fixtures can be placed on a 4' track without looking overly crowded. Thanks.

Asked by: rjb1
Hi there, and thanks for your interest in this design. Each of these track heads has an integral electronic transformer for 12 volt MR16 lamps, allowing each track head to be self contained. No external remote transformer is needed for this particular design. It really is just a matter of what you are trying to illuminate, and how much light is needed for your space. Typically three track heads is a nice amount for a 4' segment, as it allows for some balance more so than two units, whereas four may be pushing it. Should you require some additional clarification beyond this and would like to speak to a product specialist directly, feel free to give us a call anytime at 866.842.6209 and we can assist you.
