I purchased these track lighting fixtures to replace some that were from the 1970's. I like the updated look. I have high ceilings and bought the 75W fixtures and used 65W bulbs and have plenty of light.

These fixtures are nice looking when turned off, but are really cool when on due to theslots in the side and perforations on the top of the housing. I've had no dimmer or other related problems.

I was looking for a reasonably priced, quality, contemporary low voltage track lighting system for my home office. I also collect 1:24 scale diecast cars and display them in my office along with various wall hangings. I wanted increased lighting over these items. The track lighting, with it adjustable lamps, was ideal. Lighting is evenly distributed and actually makes the office a fun place to work in. The track lighting was easy to install and has performed wonderfully over the past 5+ years. In that time I've only had to replace two fixtures and two lamps. This is the only low voltage track lighting system I would ever consider. I couldn't be happier.

These are great lights! I put a track on a beam (I have 14-foot ceilings) and these little guys light up the whole wall. For such a compact unit they do a great job and being so small they really blend in.

i bought these lights to replace an older model of twice the size and weight, with large transformers, producing loud humming at lower levels when using a dimmer switch. these are much lighter, do not emit as much heat, do not whine when the dimmer is used, and produce the same amount of light at all levels. the price is also reasonable.

Model 809 perfectly meets all of my lighting requirements. Excellent classic design combined with easy instalation make this perfect for both lighting art and overall room lighting. Using a dimmer switch you can create any mood.

It's hard to beat the clean design and price of these fixtures. I installed them in my own home and it was quick and easy to do. I agree with a previous comment that the fixtures do hum when used with a dimmer switch. Usually this can be eliminated by adjusting the dimmer switch up or down.

Quality fixture for the money.

It does not, however, work with a standard dimmer switch as advertised. I tried three different dimmers from $15 to $80 and the fixtures buzz. I will try a high-end electronic dimmer next to see if it resolves the problem.

We were looking for small low voltage heads and these do the trick. They look great and kick off some nice ambient light off the sides. That said, we have noticed some buzzing at certain levels on the dimmer.
