I installed four of these lamps several years ago in a heavily used area; the lights are often on at full power for long periods.

The oldest lights are starting to sag due to heat acting on the supporting components. I too have had problems replacing bulbs due to the low-quality threading of the retaining ring. All in all I would say these are vastly overpriced for the quality delivered.

I don't install track lighting that often, and in the past I have used Home Depot or Lowes brands. The homeowner requested these W.A.C and since they were a 'name brand' and expensive, I figured that they must be good. My overall impression was that they were cheesy looking. Also, the white was actually a cream color

This track head looks great and it functions well. The best thing about it are the solid ways it can be adjusted. Getting the MR16 bulb installed is a little funky. (The design for the lens cover could be smarter. ) Of the 10 of these I bought, 1 was defective and I have asked for a replacement. Still, I am buying more because the price point is good for what it is.

I purchased 4 of these track lights to replace some old ones in my kitchen. I like these lights because they offer flexibility in how they are positioned. They are easily rotated and swiveled so that I can create the ambiance that I want. Also, depending upon the bulbs chosen and how they are mixed and matched I can control the level of lighting in my environment.

I do have one issue with the lights which is the actual process of seating the bulbs is a bit tricky. Because the wiring to the bulb inside the socket is rather stiff, it's difficult to seat the bulb in a level fashion easily and the retaining wire and glass covering the bulb don't always fit perfectly. It's not a big deal but I spent more time on this than I would have liked.
