These low voltage lights are compact, good looking, and the glass shades glow beautifully. The only thing one has to be careful about is that the two slots for the bulb prongs sometimes don't open fully and allow easy insertion of the bulb. Pushing the slots open with a stiff piece of wire works just fine before the first time one plugs a bulb in. Only suggestion is to use them with trubrite frosted low voltage MR16 for the full effect.
