Customer ReviewsGood product, but size is misleading This item is listed as a 3" product, but it is really 3 7/8", i.e. essentially 4". Also, it is not compatible with the other 3" products from WAC. I actually bought unmatching parts and had already opened and dirtied them before realizing it so I could not return them. The product itself, though, is well made, solid. My only concern with these recessed products is that both the trim and the housing leak air. I suppose this is intentional for cooling, but when they are off it costs energy since air conditioned or heated air escapes. We use these lights in a kitchen to provide task lighting from the ceiling, and chose them because their clean look works well with our design. The range of adjustment is very good - we could use them to aim light at a specific spot on the counter even though ceiling joists forced us to place the lights well off to the side. Unfortunately, the rotation about the vertical axis is very hard to change once the trim is in place, so we have to pull them out to adjust them.
