Features a hand blown smoke glass diffuser with Black ceiling canopy. Includes a 4 foot black cord which can be field shortened. Use of a dimmer is recommended to enhance the look of the pendant. After receiving his Bachelor's of Fine Art in Art at the University of Texas at Austin in 1993, Jeremy Pyles co-founded the company Andante, which was a graphics software and importer basted in Tokyo, Japan. After working there for two years, Jeremy went on to become the Senior Information Architect at NetObjects. In 2003 Jeremy created Niche Modern. Frustrated with the lighting options available for their Manhattan home-furnishings shop, Niche, they came together and created the hand-blown pendant “Stamen” in 2003. Their light fixture quickly became the store's most coveted item and in 2005 they debuted a line of 10 different lights, ranging in shapes from flattened spheres to bell jars.
